Apr 10, 2008 · Hello I'm new to virtualbox so i hope someone can help. I need to run Windows 98SE as a guest, on a Windows XP laptop. I believe that will work OK, but the main reason is to make use of an old PCMCIA card which doesn't have XP or 2000 drivers - only drivers for 98.

Jan 24, 2007 · If you will take the time to check the forums at Control.com and PLCs.net, you will see that many developers are looking for virtual machine software that offers PCMCIA support. This would allow us to isolate the myriad (sometimes conflicting) software development packges. Without PCMCIA support, VMWare is all but useless. Thanks.

Apr 22, 2007 · I have Ubuntu host with Windows XP guest. I have a PCMCIA card for wireless 3G internet (dial up, dynamic IP) that works only in Windows, not in Linux. So I would like to be able to use it in XP guest machine since I can not use it in Linux host. Does VMware Workstation support PCMCIA cards at all? Thanks.
