That would be a selling point for me. Larian put in the effort with Divinity: Original Sin as well as the sequel and in this day and age where gaming laptops (yes, that IS a thing) and gaming on PC with a controller is so common, controller support turns out to be a selling point.

Jun 01, 2018 · ARPG games are a million times better with gamepad. Time to face this fact. You definitely lose precision with a gamepad, but you also gain agility. Tons of games don't need high precision, and PoE is definitely one of them. And since this game is getting Xbox support, there is literally no reason to deny pc uses this superior gamepad option.

Nope. No gamepad support at all. Game was made for KB+M only for some reason. Now, EME talked about bringing the game to Steam on their road map plans. Steam has support for their own controller, PS4, XB1 and even generic pads. Though they'd probably have to do something about the game's elevated permissions first.
