I just tried to activate a Palm Centro 690 after customer service told me a few weeks ago that any Palm under a 700 series could be activated without a data package. This is not true and I cannot activate my phone that I bought on Ebay (as suggested by customer service). I tried to activate it online and there is no option for Pay as you go.

I'm looking for a centro, too, but it seems Verizon online and all stores (within the 5 states area) are out. (as are wirefly and amazon) ... when I called Verizon Wireless support about a week ago they said it was out of stock and not discontinued. ... I have a palm Centro.

Jun 16, 2014 · I have a Palm Centro phone (Verizon) upgraded from xp home edition to Windows 8 (desktop to laptop) hard drive on desktop destroyed. Now I cannot hotsync my Palm phone as Windows 8 has no support that I can find.
