Dec 09, 2010 · Unfortunately, Microsoft excluded support for Exchange 2003 in its major upgrade of Office 2011 for Mac. Official reason is that Exchange 2003 is too old, which is of course a weak justification considering that even the latest iOS 4.2 for iPhone/iPod and iPad do support Exchange 2003.

Sep 19, 2011 · Outlook 2011 does not support Exchange 2003. I'm guessing you are using Exchange 2007 instead. Do not rebuild an Outlook Identity with an Exchange account. It's best to start in a new Identity. I would log into your account with your browser and delete the emails there. Then let your new Identity download. Exchange Basics

Dec 25, 2011 · The point is that my customers are dumb. Some have Macs and Outlook and of course Apple Mail installed. I need to give them access to their mail accounts on the Exchange 2003 SBS. The Outlook 2011 program doesn't work with SBS 2003 if using Exchange mail connection. It does work using IMAP.

What about Outlook 2011 for Mac (Entourage)? Outlook 2011 for Mac (formerly known as Entourage) and previous versions of the Mac client do not include support for accessing the personal archive.
