Aug 09, 2010 · 0x8000CCC7D Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. I've tried ports 465, 587 and 25 as well as changing smtp server to smtp.googlemail.com but it didn't help. A solution would be much appreciated for this seemingly common problem.

Mar 26, 2007 · Are you running the IIS built-in SMTP-server or Exchange (or other external smpt-server)? Reason for the question is that I'm not quite sure how IIS does with the SMTP-server that's builtin when you install a server certificate for the Web server.

Error: Server does not support secure connections. The company I for work created a windows service that does some stuff and then sends an email from gmail. In the beginning it sent the email just fine with no problems. After installing the service on a Vista machine we noticed it would not send the email.
