Oracle Support will assist customers running Oracle products on VMware in the following manner: Oracle will only provide support for issues that either are known to occur on the native OS, or can be demonstrated not to be as a result of running on VMware.

May 20, 2010 · Can anyone tell me what's the latest with VMWare and Oracle ? I have been reading around the web, and I am picking up mixed signals. From my understanding, Oracle does run in the VM Environment, but if you have trouble, Oracle won't provide any tech support for the problem. Is this still the case ? Cheers Steve
