Apr 16, 2018 · Why an old version of the database, but a new version of the OS? I'd think if you were happy with Oracle 11g, then you'd be just as happy with Win 2008R2. For all the reasons you want to upgrade the OS, they probably apply to your Oracle database as well. Cheers, Brian. yup, We've seen this many, many times.
