Oracle have recently offered Waived Fee Extended Support for database version 11.2.0.4 until EO 2018 and for 12.1.0.2 until mid-2019. Once Waived Fee Extended Support (or Premier Support where there is no Waived Fee Extended Support) ends, then the product enters Sustaining Support.

Sep 04, 2019 · It is possible that by 2020, we will have a new Oracle version, but that info is not yet part of this chart. 18c will receive patches until mid-2021. 19c is the long term "12.2" release and will be fully supported without an Extended Support contract until 2023. I am working towards upgrading all my Oracle databases to 19c this year.

Jan 29, 2018 · Extended Support ends in 2020. However, you have to pay extra for that. 11.2.0.4 is currently on Extended Support. Normally this is an extra cost option. However, Oracle is currently giving everyone with a valid support contract free ES for 11.2.0.4 until Dec 2018. After that, you will have to pay for ES if you still want to be on 11.2.0.4.
