Oracle Forms 12c version can now be used without a browser while still keeping the native appearance of the application.. Either JDK or Java Plugin (JRE) has to be installed on the client PC. An example of how to use this type of configuration can be found in the Forms web configuration file (formsweb.cfg), present in Forms 12c environment.
