    Jan 05, 2010 · With the Extended Support you can have Patchset Exception so as to corrrect a specific Bug. But to benefit from it you must apply the Final Patchset 9.2.0.8. Afterwards (and indefinitely), you have the Sustaining Support, you can have documentation, help to upgrade ..., but you couldn't have any patch for a Bug. Hope it can help.

    Apr 23, 2007 · Technically, support for Oracle 9.2 ends July 2007. But you can purchase Extended Support for Oracle 9.2 for an additional three years, until July 2010. I believe you must be on the terminal release of Oracle9i Release 2 which is 9.2.0.8 to benefit from Extended Support.
