Customers running 11i have indicated that the previous support dates did not give them sufficient time to complete their upgrades. Customers should use this time to upgrade to R12 *NOW* -- Nov. 2013 is just around the corner. Customers still running 11.5.10.2 after Nov. 2013 will only receive fixes to Severity 1 (e.g. production down) issues.

With some more details, Oracle have changed the End of Life (end of bug patching) and Extended Support (bug patching for customers ho pays an extra cost on support fees) for Oracle 11gR2 patch 11.2.0.4.

Jun 26, 2013 · Oracle 10gR2 (10.2) has been desupported for 3 years, though technically they gave everyone a free year of extended support which brought EOL for most companies to July 2011. Oracle 11gR1 (11.1) was taken off Premier Support in August 2012. Hopefully you’ve moved on to 11.2 by now, it’s great and mostly stable.
