Mar 21, 2006 · this is a sample that uses ogg vorbis support from OpenAL. in fact, this sample does not require jorbis or other library to play ogg vorbis audio. it's just a little bit of modification of samples that i found when i was looking for lwjgl sample to play ogg vorbis with lwjgl. thanks for authors of the samples.

Dec 17, 2019 · OpenAL's methods expect C types as arguments, which means you will have to convert Python's types to C types using ctypes if you want to use them directly. Don't worry though, PyOpenAL can be used without the need to do that. I removed the support for ALUT, because it is basically impossible to build nowadays.

Jan 12, 2004 · More OpenAL, Ogg Vorbis support added « Reply #5 on: January 12, 2004, 12:09:39 » it has always been in linux, you just have to query for the correct extension (AL_EXT_vorbis) and the correct buffer format value, using al.alGetEnumValue (AL_FORMAT_VORBIS_EXT).
