Another $300 for old projects support, $500 for XML import/export and $1000 for tape i/o????? Screw Automatic Duck. Screw Apple for this. My $1299 FCS already does all of this for free!

Jan 21, 2013 · OMF AND AAF with FCP7 and FCPX Final Cut Pro 7 has the ability to create OMF but this was removed for FCPX. While there may be some Apple-centric solution, most of my experience has been that 3rd-party software does the best job.

Apr 07, 2014 · If Apple thinks this is going to encourage post houses to move away from Pro Tools they are crazy. Kind of quite the opposite. The lack of direct OMF/AAF support in FCPX is the one thing stopping me from buying it. This addon application costs almost as much as FCPX itself too. Just to convert AAF/OMF.

Seems a reasonable request, but FCPX doesn't support OMF exports.

Jul 27, 2015 · Of course, many of us are irritated by the continued lack of support for OMF in FCPX. But now that a few years have passed, there has to be a work-around somewhere. Right? Everyone says X2Pro for exporting from Final Cut Pro X for post audio, and it does look like a nifty solution. However, Sonar X3 still does not support AAF.
