Dec 11, 2010 · Does anyone know of a modern motherboard that I can buy that still supports Win 98. No virtual machines, must run 98 native. If you do know good ram and a cpu and if it does not have integrated graphics card, know of good ones for Win 98, that would be greatly appreciated too.

Hi all: So my mother owns an optometric practice with a very old Dicon field machine ( dicon tks 4000 ) and it uses a floppy to store patient data then it is moved to the a pc with WIN 98SE and displayed with a program called Field View 3.01 then they print that report from the software.

Oct 19, 2012 · Regarding the 775i65G motherboard - it sucks that it only takes DDR ram, and I have my doubts about the SATA controller. I have a Gigabyte socket-370 P-3 motherboard with i875 / ICH5r chipset and unless Intel fixed this at some point, the SATA controller was very unstable when used with Windows 98 (and possibly any NT-based OS).
