If using a modified kernel, then you need to use "mlnx_add_kernel_support.sh" from MLNX_OFED_LINUX-1.5.3-4.0.35-rhel5.10-x86_64.iso to build a new iso image or tarball with modified kernel support. This image has to be used for MLNX OFED installation on the modified kernel.
