Nov 27, 2016 · It's pretty typical to use OBIEE 11.1.1.6.x or even 11.1.1.5. Well, I knew this before, but when you can see tens of questions it makes the situation more obvious. I'm going to maintain a list of OBIEE versions with release dates in this post, so it's easy to say how old the given release is. I'm not going to say that I remember all of these dates.

The 11g support clock is ticking, with the first step of Extended Support starting Jan 2015 (in order to get Extended Support you will have to be on Oracle Database 11.2.0.4, the terminal patch set).
