This is typically caused by not having the minimum required DirectX support in the GPU. For NVIDIA GPUs, DirectX 10.0 support is required. For AMD and GPUs from other vendors, DirectX 10.1 support is required.

The NVS5100m on my notebook seems to support dx10.1 but it is older than the Geforce 600 series. Any plans to include the nvs5100m into the list of supported gpus? Many thanks Marty

Hi . I get the exact same message "GPU does not support DirectX10.0 which is required", only the thing is it's a Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5850 1GB, which should be adequate for this game and definitely supports DirectX10 and 11!

i've been playing this game for something like 87 hours and now today there is an update and i can't play the game any more. with same message saying that my hd6900 series doesn't support dx10.0 this is such garbage. any one there know how to fix this??
