Sep 09, 2005 · A friend of mine who's an industry consultant found an item that's apparently specific to my situation (nv4_disp, infinite loop, Dell 650 Workstation, relating to AutoCAD) on the Autodesk (parent company) website that seems to address it but I haven't found it and I haven't been able to get back in touch with him yet.

Feb 02, 2008 · Hi all I have just reformatted my hard drive and installed all windows update. I'm trying to install drivers for my nvidia 7950 GX2. No matter what driver version I try, when I reboot the PC freezes at desktop and i get a BSOD telling me that nv4_disp is caught in an infinite loop.

Aug 01, 2009 · Ok the actual problem is that whenever I try to play any game that uses 3D it will launch and then when it starts to load the actual game (not the initial trailor video's) that's when i get green haze lines accross the entire screen and if i wait long enough i will get the blue screen of death with the nv4_disp infinite loop blah blah blah ....
