Ghost 9.0 et al was originally Drive Image by Powerquest. Drive Image was a great product with good support. Symantec bought Powerquest and renamed Drive Image "Norton Ghost". I only bought Ghost because I know Drive Image is a good product. Symantec added a few inconsequential features but now provides zero technical support.3.2/5(70)

May 18, 2016 · Windows 10 Upgrade Issue concerning software not installed I am upgrading from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro with the free upgrade option. All files were downloaded, but when the installer was preparing to install the upgrade it came up with me needing to uninstall Norton Ghost 9.0 twice on the screen.
