Jan 08, 2010 · Poor Mail for Exchange Support Nokia N900. This is concerning for me as well. I have not yet received my N900, but if I understand this thread correctly, the N900 only allows numeric codes for the device lock.

MfE on the N900 is only designed to work with Exchange 2003 (since PR1.1) and 2007 servers, although Exchange 2010 should also work. Servers will also need to have support for Non Provisioned Devices Enabled in order to have synchronization work.

N900 is considered to be "non provisioning device" from Exchange server point of view. It basically means that it can not be managed from Exchange server - administrator can not wipe your device, request you to use autolock and so on.
