A very few digitizing programs do not use the wintab driver and communicate directly with the digitizer. Just looked up what wintab drivers are but it seems kind of redundant from what the pen normally does.

This should be easy to fix. Go to "Options". Look in the "System" tab (should be the fifth one tab). The second group down on the left side is the "Current Pointing Deivce" box.

I've downloaded the Surface Hub thing that gives me a tiny bit of control over pressure, but I'm wondering if I also need Wintab. This is my first Windows product in like 20 years (big time Apple fan), so I'm concerned about screwing it up with the wrong driver.
