Oct 24, 2019 · Hi everyone, Fresh RHEL 7 install of latest rstudio-desktop crashes with: qt.qpa.xcb: X server does not support XInput 2 WARNING: Application calling GLX 1.3 function "glXCreatePbuffer" when GLX 1.3 is not supported! This is an application bug! The server is accessed remotely via X2Go (again latest available version) I touched base with X2Go community and the feedback I received …

GLX_LARGEST_PBUFFER. Specify to obtain the largest available pixel buffer, if the requested allocation would have failed. The width and height of the allocated pixel buffer will never exceed the specified GLX_PBUFFER_WIDTH or GLX_PBUFFER_HEIGHT, respectively.

Dec 13, 2009 · When you call glXChooseVisual(), VirtualGL maps that to glXGetFBConfig() on the server, and it tacks on GLX_DRAWABLE_TYPE, GLX_PBUFFER_BIT to the glXGetFBConfig() attributes. So if Pbuffers aren't available, the request for a Pbuffer config will fail, and this will cause glXChooseVisual() to fail.

ATI’s 2.5.1 driver doesn’t support PBuffers. The Catalyst windows drivers support them. Does anyone have any information on when PBuffer support will be implemented in the Linux drivers. Granted it’s currently GLX 1.2, but the extension would be nice, as would GLX 1.3. Thanks. [This message has been edited by Ribeye (edited 05-15-2003).]

Thank you, cor-el for your prompt answer. Some info for future readers: If you install on a linux machine Download the tarball (the extension is .tar.gz) then unpack it into a folder where you (and others if you install to a multi-user system) have read-write access.

Correct, there was never a nVidia card plugged in. Btw., this is a Ubuntu server installation (no xserver, no window manager). I need OpenGL support for running libfreenect2. – masterhui Jan 9 '15 at 18:07

Dec 22, 2009 · My glxinfo says 1.4 for both values. I have an nvidia card, using the binary driver. I think the driver you're using doesn't support 3d acceleration, which is probably why the glx version is …

Support for stereo cameras (with simulated disparity maps). No weird X window manager artifacts in simulated camera images (as was the case with Gazebo 0.4). Unfortunately, hardware/driver support for (accelerated) offscreen rendering currently seems to be very patchy, with at least four different methods available:

@Ekevoo: We can rule out the last one libgl1-mesa-glx as it is this, that's detecting a problem in the first place (it's implementing the GLX client side, which informs you, that it's missing GLX capabilities on the server). Have a look at the /var/log/Xorg.<n>.log files. The X server is telling you there what's missing. Ignore the warnings (WW), as there will always be some of them, look for ...

I discovered that there is something wrong with GLX since when I run: /usr/lib/nux/ ... Error: GLX is not available on the system. ... that surprised me is that the problem was not solved when I tried installing other newer NVidia drivers which also support my graphics card (Quadro K2200), but I needed the exact same driver that I had before to ...
