Aug 12, 2017 · MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT DRAG THE ACTUAL minecraft FOLDER INTO YOUR DESKTOP! This will destroy the connection between the game and the saved data, and make it impossible to save worlds or edit textures, and there's no way to put it back. Leave the minecraft alias on your desktop. Double-clicking it will open the very minecraft folder that you want.

The folders Local and LocalLow are missing. Roaming is there, but there are no files in it but the folder "Windows" which then contains yet another empty folder. There is no files, no other folders, no nothing. I know for sure that there should be a ".minecraft" folder in there and a folder for my Spore game. Yet there isn't. Help?
