Oct 19, 2006 · Intel support claims that these are desktop boards and therefore Windows Server 2003 is currently not supported. Don't know why they say "currently". I never saw any such statements when I looked at the product descriptions ofthe DG965WH and I'm really negatively surprised.

Jan 17, 2014 · Unfortunately, when installing Windows Server 2012 Essentials, the Intel I217 network controller is not supported. And no driver is available, either from ASUS or from Intel. Looking into the issue, I see that ASUS installs the Intel I217V chipset into Z87 motherboards, not the I217UM.
