Adobe Camera Raw 7.2 and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.2 have been released and add preliminary support for Nikon D600 RAW files. The new ACR and Lightroom versions released on October 3, 2012 can read Nikon Electronic Format (NEF) files created by the Nikon D600, although it is not documented in Adobe’s release notes.

Adobe can help its customers by providing support for the D600 ASAP. I would like to think that Nikon and Adobe communicate so Adobe would know that the D600 is being released. I would like to think that Adobe has a test version of D600 RAW support that can be released as a special download shortly.
