Sep 14, 2010 · There is little to nothing to be gained from using the Nvidia IDE driver over the one that Windows installs by default. As far chipset drivers for the old NF4 other than the default Windows drivers the best you're going to get is the last Vista driver, NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.23 WHQL as Nvidia has declared it EOL and dropped support for it.

May 31, 2007 · I just upgraded the MB to an ECS NForce4m-a CPU AMD 5000+ X2 AM2 with 2gigs of OCZ ddr 800 Everything seemed to be working fine last I checked it. But today it kept "stuttering" or freezing momentarily and the working. Just kept doing that. Temp was about 55-56 C from the desktop and about 53 in the biox. After I turned off smart fan the stuttering left.

Dec 03, 2012 · That is a very old and outdated motherboard with AM2 socket while the AMD Athlon II X2 250 has a somewhat newer AM3 socket. By the way, that AMD Athlon II X2 250 is also a low end old model processor, not worth the $60 in my opinion. Check the first column in the CPU support list, it clearly says socket AM2:
