I have an ATI Radeon X1650 PRO 512M card and I have the latest drivers - I have tried a few versions and cleaned the machine between each test using DriverSweeper. This card is a replacement for an nVidia GeForce4 MX4000 card which also had no Direct3D functionality - again all the latest drivers.

May 10, 2007 · We use to have the same problem with Netsupport. After viewing the client screen DirectX was disabled. If it happens again check this setting in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Graphics\DCI Make sure Timeout is set to 7. Netsupport was setting that value to 0, which was disabling DirectX.
