    Feb 23, 2012 · Is there MSDTC support without writing/extending code? If anyone can point me down the right road, I would be most appreciative.. I have worked with MySQL and have looked at the actual queries of our app and there is really nothing special in the transact that wouldn't just run if I can actually just get the transport working.

    Yes, I know that MSDASQL support distributed transactions and I was in contact with OpenLink Support. They state me, that their Single-Tier MySQL Driver and MSDASQL both support XA Transactions. So they couldn't help. XA transactions in MSDTC are also allowed (configured via component service in Windows W2k3).
