Sep 25, 2018 · I pay to update my maps in my cars every four or five years. I did update my UVO a few years ago so I now have Android Auto and I use Google nav when going thru the Chicago area, but otherwise I much prefer the built-in nav so I am willing to pay periodically. I am 60, but hardly clueless.
