Dec 21, 2009 · Dear All, I've resolved this issue by including the -lva library (earlier it was -lva-x11) while compiling the mplayer with vaapi code, but now i am facing different issue that WHILE PLAYING MPLAYER-VAAPI ./mplayer -vo vaapi IT IS PLAYING BUT NO DISPLAY I AM GETTING IT IS FULL GREEN SCREEN.

Sep 03, 2009 · mplayer-accelerated is built with support for both VDPAU and VA-API video decoding and output acceleration. VDPAU support was written by NVIDIA and merged into mainline mplayer some time ago. VAAPI support comes from the patch written by Gwenole Beauchesne.
