I've followed the instructions on this guide in order to enable mp3 and mp4 playback but still no success, I can't play them on either SMPlayer or mpv. I have added packman, installed the mentioned packages but to no avail so far. Any help? Edit: Apparently they do play on VLC player, which I installed later, however my usual player is SMPlayer, why can't I reproduce mp3 files on SMPlayer?
