    Aug 12, 2011 · I have some confusion regarding TRIM support in RAID 0. I have 2x80 GB Intel X-25M G2 SSDs in RAID 0 on a P55-GD65 mobo. I am not using a RAID card, and my OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I just flashed the latest firmware update for the drives. According to the Intel SSD Toolbox, TRIM is not enabled.

    In fact, those RAID controllers are a joke and offer no real world benefit to software RAID but have a few drawbacks. However, Windows 10 software RAID does support TRIM. So I suggest, use software RAID, it is as fast as it would be when using the "hardware" RAID, has none of the drawbacks and will definitely support TRIM.
