Feb 23, 2014 · Original Title: WINDOWS 7 AND MIDI. Hi guys. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and I'm having severe problems with getting my MIDI to USB keyboard recognized and working. The make and model of the keyboard is Carillon Control 25 (don't think this matters as all MIDI keyboards seem to have problems with Windows 7).

Because of this, old software that relies on the default output device setting to know where to send MIDI messages will be tied to the default synthesizer.
