Apr 11, 2011 · AFAIK, at the moment you can only get USB 3.0 support if the host controller has a custom driver as some vendors are shipping. Current speculation is that 3.0 will be in Windows 8, but this is speculation not MIcrosoft confirmed. You shold be able to develop a driver with the current WDK, then adjust it as needed when 3.0 comes out.
