Then SQL Server will have a wait status of ASYNC_NETWORK_IO. Note Because the ASYNC_NETWORK_IO wait is implemented, the wait_time against it will never exceed two seconds (2,000 ms).

Mar 09, 2011 · The reason I ask is that here at Red Gate we've added VSS support to SQL Source Control, and many of our evaluators are completely unaware that VSS is approaching end of life. It would be great if we could educate them by referring them to an official Microsoft page instead of pointing them to a selection of random articles and blogs.
