Jan 09, 2017 · The problem with in-the-case floppy drives is no BIOS support with newer motherboards and no pins/socket on the motherboard, hence the need to use a USB Floppy drive which should show as a Removable drive. I have a couple of them. First it was motherboards supporting 2 floppy drives then only 1 floppy drive then none, technology marching on.
