Jan 16, 2017 · In the other case, I would just team on both sides and run iSCSI traffic over the teams (initiator and target). One seems to involve way less moving parts than the other (straight up teaming instead of teaming + vlan + MPIO). And I usually feel that simpler is usually better. So would that work while still offering good performances ?

Apr 21, 2009 · Is the server truly configured with "intel iscsi remote boot image". If the answer is yes, you can not use teaming as the Microsoft iSCSI initiator does not support teaming. If you are worried about redundancy to the iSCSI target, then you should use multipath I/O.
