Jan 15, 2018 · I have a microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000 that was working just fine before I upgraded to windows 10. After the upgrade, the scroll wheel stopped working. I tried deleting the mouse from my devices, but now I can not reconnect it. I have bluetooth on and the mouse is in discover mode but the computer cant find it.

I bought a new Samsung laptop NP3530EC-A0LDX with windows 8. My previous Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 (p/n X8007028-001) manufactured August 2009 wouldn't pair with the new laptop. Online support reckons that the mouse is just not compatible with windows 8. Strange. I suspect windows 8.
