Jul 24, 2017 · MHT is an older file format that fell out of favor because it's easy to attack. Most people use PDF to save web pages now. MHT opens in Internet Explorer and also Firefox, but I think you need to add an extension for Firefox. There are lots of great tools for saving web pages -- too many to describe here.

I Save a webpage in mobile using OperaMini browser and it stored that as .mhtml file. After I tried to open that file on my desktop by Chrome and Firefox but when i double-clicked on .mhtml Chrome & Firefox downloaded that file instead of rendering the .mhtml file.
