In order to be able to automatically sync my local files and the files on this server, I really could use the option to update the timestamps of uploaded files, equally to the timestamp of my local files. I understand MFMT is the command, as suggested in the SOMER draft ... Any support for that? Paul

Jan 08, 2009 · Hi, I'm running vsftpd (default config) on a RH server (5.1). I'd need vsftpd to leave the timestamp on files it receives from clients. Right now the behaviour is that the uploaded files get the timestamp from the server's localtime, whereas when I download the file with a client, I can tell the client (FileZilla) to keep the timestamp from server and this does work.
