Mar 11, 2009 · I experience the same jerkyness problem with PS3 and youtube mp4 streams (even as low as 200kb/s). On the other hand, apple trailers (720p) stream smoothly with bitrates up to 10Mb/s. One difference is that the ps3 read the stream directly from the web for apple, whereas it goes through mediatomb for youtube.
