Apr 27, 2017 · I have a NVMe SSD drive with a 7.2k drive in a Dell machine and when I deploy the OS through MDT is defaults to the 7.2k drive which must be the first drive in the system bios. If I unplug the 7.2k drive in MDT it will install to the SSD no problem. Is there a way to change the drive target in MDT?

Sep 25, 2016 · When a matching driver is found, it is injected into the image before it is applied to the computer’s hard drive. To do this, MDT has a folder/section in the deployment share that is dedicated to organizing and storing drivers. It is called “Out-of-Box-Drivers” (OOBD). The basic INF files are what MDT needs for driver injection.

Aug 02, 2018 · There is a simple fix to direct MDT to the disk to install the operating system on. You will need to go into the Deployment Workbench of MDT and add a variable to the task sequence. To do this, you will need to attach the Deployment Share to your Deployment Repository to make the changes.

Nov 23, 2012 · The drives does not seem to be recognized by the operating system either. However, if I boot into Windows server 2012 from the hard drive, I'm able to get the computer up and runninng, and see all the harddrives (including the USB flash drive) in explorer.
