Mar 30, 2013 · After getting a brand new media center PC with a nice integrated blu-ray drive, I am dismayed at the lack of support media center or other third party software has for blu-ray on a PC. Power DVD that comes with the blu-ray drive is shockingly awful and unfit for purpose. Placing a disc into the drive exits media center and loads Power DVD.

Jul 21, 2016 · You could always just close WMC down and fire up MediaPortal when you want to watch a Blu Ray, it has support built in to the native player. You could just install the client without the tv server so it won't interfere with WMC. (I am referring to MediaPortal 1).
