Sep 01, 2012 · I see people already requested a "Traktor virtual audio Output" before, and also many asked for better Maschine integration. It would be a nice start to implement Rewire functionality - almost every host supports rewire, it would be nice to use Traktor as a Rewire slave.

I'm pretty familiar with the possible workflows available for DAW <-> Maschine but I'm unhappy with all of them as I am a long-time Reason/Rewire user moving over to Maschine/VST. I am used to a flow where I can easily work in tandem between my DAW and Reason without having to bounce, map midi ins/outs, or deal with pesky VST limitations.

Maschine is not a rewire host, that’s why you need the rewire vst to use reason in Maschine. And Maschine isn’t a rewire slave so it will not stream audio into Reason. Now if you have an audio interface that can route between apps then you may be able to route between the two but all audio interfaces do not support that.
