Aug 04, 2008 · Yes, you can use MNS with two nodes. however when one cluster node powers off, you will loose Majority and therefore loose your cluster for 2003: you can have a maximum of 2 nodes in a MNS cluster, but you can enable a FileShareWitness, which will have a vote. E.g. if you poweroff one node, the other will still survive as long as it can access the FileShare.
