The problem is that if the joystick is enabled, the MAME core ignores all the keyboard inputs. Oct 26, 2016 · I like all my Battlefield Comrades are very disappointed in EA/DICE for not having Joystick Support in the Game. I have even tried using a Logitech Joypad and it is the same, the Preset Config for STICK as it is listed in the options only covers one Joypad, again this is disappointing to us all.

Apr 26, 2017 · Depends on what kind of joystick you're plugging in, but I used one of these to connect a Nintendo NES Advantage joystick. No drivers necessary. Plug it in and use. Worked with any game in MacMAME and a couple others. None were NES games, the software just had to recognize a connected joystick.
