I've been told that zune software for Mac is pretty complex, as zune software for windows depends on the .Net framework that Mac doesn't have. So, the answer to your first question is most likely 'don't hold your breath...' unfortunately. The answer to your second question is likely the same, or it should've happened at the same time.
