Feb 23, 2010 · Mail.app supports the Exchange Web Services which from the information I can gather ActiveSync should be a subset of this. I cannot find any information on why non-mobile clients should not have ActiveSync support. My experience with this problem is that most corporations will yield to the demand for activesync on mobile devices.

Mar 23, 2014 · activesync on lion I have the same question. For those of us that work for companies that haven't updated exchange since 2003, we can only use activesync and get our mail on iOS devices and can't on the mac computer.
