I called LR Baggs Tech Support and the tech made some good suggestions. The enhanced ambient sensitivity of the pickup is a double edged sword. It reproduced ALL sounds with a lot of presence, including touching the neck, handling the body during play, or moving fingers over the body... It is exquisitely sensitive to those kinds of inputs.4.5/5

Hi Bryan, I'm new and know little about pickups, etc. I just bought a Breedlove guitar with an LR Baggs Element Active VTC pickup. It sounds fairly good when plugged into my PA, but I'd like to know more about it: reading various comments in this forum and elsewhere I see a lot of discussion about piezo pickup problems, mainly a quacking sound.

New gigpro problems out of the box. Need photo of the board. I bought a new LR Baggs GigPro for my harp and it seems broken (I can't get sound from it's out, however the direct connection to instrument with the same cables is OK (the battery is new, after cable plug in to input diode starts to light with red color, everything seems OK, but I have no signal from output).
