Revision 2 of this card has just been released . The new card uses a DIBCOM tuner and modulator and does not work under the current driver. The linuxTV drivers are now updated, the revision two works beautifully. The changes do not yet seem to be merged with the Linux kernel (2.6.27), the link above should help you install the drivers.

Sep 23, 2009 · Linux is still Linux. As I have said before, if your hardware does not work "out of the box" or with minimal configuration through a GUI, then it doesn't work. Easy, widespread TV card support is a couple of years away at least. Currently you will need good command line skills to iron out all the problems. To me this does not quallify as "working".

Look into experiences from other Linux users with this device on forums, check the LinuxTV Wiki for details on the current state of support in the Linux kernel of a wide range of recording devices.. Don't bother for MythTV: it is outdated and bug-ridden.
